The service
Text2Pay provides businesses with tools to send payment requests by text and manage their service account. By using the service, you agree to these terms. You must have authority to act for the business you represent.
Your account
Provide accurate name, email, phone and business information, keep it current, and protect your login credentials. You are responsible for authorized account activity. Report suspected misuse promptly to support@text2pay.me.
Stripe processing
All payment processing and storage of card and payment-method data are handled by Stripe. Text2Pay does not store card numbers, security codes, bank credentials or other payment credentials. Operational payment-request records, such as amounts, status and Stripe reference IDs, allow the application to track requests. Stripe’s terms and Privacy Policy apply to its services.
Business responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of payment requests, the goods or services you sell, and resolving customer questions. Obtain any consent required to contact customers by SMS or email. Do not send unsolicited messages, misrepresent amounts, commit fraud, interfere with the service or use it for unlawful transactions.
Pricing and billing
The prices and fees shown on the live pricing page and the plan or agreement you accept apply to your account. This page does not create new fees or change an existing price. Any applicable taxes, processor charges, billing interval and renewal conditions form part of the relevant agreement. Material changes to our recurring charges will be communicated before taking effect; you may cancel before the change applies to a future billing period.
Cancellation
You may request cancellation at any time by emailing support@text2pay.me from your account email address. We may verify your identity. If you have a recurring plan, a cancellation request received before the next renewal stops future renewals; access normally continues to the end of the paid period unless you request earlier closure. Pay-as-you-go use may be stopped at any time. Charges already incurred remain payable. Cancellation does not automatically cancel your Stripe account, customer subscriptions or pending transactions; review these separately with the relevant provider.
Refunds
Fees for completed transactions and setup work already performed are non-refundable, except where required by law or where a separate written agreement provides otherwise. Prepaid recurring service fees are not normally prorated for a partially used billing period. Contact support promptly about a duplicate or incorrect charge. These terms do not limit mandatory refund or cancellation rights. Refunds for goods or services sold by a merchant must be requested from that merchant.
Availability and suspension
We take reasonable steps to operate the service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, successful customer payments or a particular payout date. Stripe, telecommunications and hosting services may experience delays or outages. We may restrict or suspend access to address security threats, unlawful activity, material breaches or unpaid charges, with notice where reasonable and lawful.
Privacy and intellectual property
Our Privacy Policy explains how account information and necessary service records are handled. You retain rights to information you provide and authorize its use to deliver the service. Text2Pay and third-party software, branding and website materials remain the property of their respective owners. Do not copy, attack or access the service without authorization.
Liability and applicable law
Each party remains responsible for its actions under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, Text2Pay is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or failures of third-party services outside its reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability, statutory protections or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable Canadian law and the mandatory laws of your province or territory apply.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes affecting an existing paid arrangement will be communicated as required by the agreement and law. For questions, cancellation requests or account assistance, email support@text2pay.me.
